About The Role

Please note that this position is 37 hours a week working 38 weeks during term time with a pro-rata salary of £17,181 (£23,576 FTE) per annum. Holiday payment for 5.12 weeks of £2,318 will be paid equally over 12 months in addition to the salary above.

As a key member of the East Kent Colleges Group team, you will provide effective and efficient administrative support as part of the College Support Services team.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the processing of student applications, exams, and enquiries on our corporate data systems, as well as helping to operate the Service Help Desk, reviewing jobs logged, contacting relevant support services, and coordinating pool vehicle bookings.

About You

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team. As a College Services Assistant, you will work in an open office environment, requiring the ability to focus on tasks while also answering calls and dealing with queries.

Your duties will be varied and will involve working with staff, students, and external stakeholders, with excellent customer service being essential. You will also be involved in various processes within the college, including daily reception operations, administration, timetabling, student enrolment, student records, and exams.

Experience of working to tight deadlines with accuracy is essential, and you will be expected to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
