Job Title: Outpatient Pharmacist

Location: NHS Hospital

Job Type: Contract

Salary: £23-27 per hour

Hours: 9am – 5:30pm, 30 minute break, 3 days per week

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outpatient Pharmacist to join our client's team at an NHS Hospital. This role will be dispensary based.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to outpatients, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
  • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Offer advice and support to patients regarding their medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in medication reconciliation and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with NHS standards.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid GPhC registration.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience is essential.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
