Job Title: Head of Project Delivery

McCabe & Barton is seeking an experienced Head of Project Delivery to lead our project delivery function. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining best practices, developing an environment that allows Project Managers to thrive, and overseeing all Project Delivery across the group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project delivery strategies to ensure high standards of governance and health are maintained across the business.
  • Manage large teams of Project Managers, nurturing and developing talent to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee resource and budget management, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with the PMO function to define processes and documentation, ensuring adequate controls and governance.
  • Support Project Managers in their projects, providing cover and guidance as needed.
  • Develop and maintain robust portfolio dashboards and KPIs to track project performance.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Proven experience managing large teams and developing talent.
  • Excellent background in resource and budget management, with direct budget responsibilities in excess of £30m.
  • Experience overseeing a wide range of project and programme workstreams.
  • Previous experience developing and maintaining portfolio dashboards and KPIs.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence departmental leaders.
