Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Education Intervention Specialist to join our team at Acorn Park School, a school for 98 pupils with primary diagnosis of Autism. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and leading educational interventions specified in pupils' EHCPs, including Lego Therapy, DESTY, QT Robot, and Precision Teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead educational interventions for pupils with EHCPs.
  • Support class teams with planning, delivering, and tracking of universal provisions.
  • Liaise with the Provision Lead on pupil caseloads and workload.
  • Provide updates and information for ITACs and Annual Reviews.
Requirements

  • Experience of working in a school setting.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • Experience of teaching individuals and groups.
  • GCSE English and Maths.
