Senior Paraplanner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paraplanner to join our team at Jenson Fisher Consulting Ltd. As a Senior Paraplanner, you will play a critical role in supporting our Financial Advisers in managing clients' planning needs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Financial Advisers in assessing and researching options and solutions for clients.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial plans, conduct thorough research, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Provide technical administration support, including drafting and presenting detailed financial reports.
  • Manage client-related enquiries in a timely manner and develop relationships of trust with clients.
  • Support the training and development of other paraplanners and act as an Investment Specialist or Pension Specialist.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years post-qualified relevant experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products, pension transfers, and taxation.
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance related to financial advice.
  • Proficiency in drafting and presenting detailed financial reports.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
  • A University degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or CISI Investment Advice Diploma.
Skills and Other Relevant Information:
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities and proficiency at multitasking.
  • Highly numerate, with the ability to analyse financial data and provide insights.
  • Meticulous when it comes to attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
