Job Title: Teacher - Functional Skills

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teacher to join our team at Catch22. As a Teacher - Functional Skills, you will be responsible for teaching and learning, creating an inspirational learning environment, and engaging with parents regarding learner progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Functional Skills from Entry Level to Level 2 in Maths and English
  • Create an inclusive learning environment with high expectations of learner achievement and success
  • Engage with parents to ensure they are supportive of learner progress
  • Build effective relationships with learners and embed trust and support within the education process
  • Plan and deliver lessons that enable learners to achieve and progress
  • Be a role model for inclusive learning and the recognition and celebration of diversity
  • Ensure good outcomes for all learners
Requirements:
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Significant experience in teaching and planning
  • Experience working with young people, including those with complex needs and high behaviour
  • Extensive behaviour management experience
