Teacher - Functional Skills Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team as a Functional Skills Educator. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students of varying abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach Functional Skills from Entry Level to Level 2 in Maths and English, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters academic achievement and personal growth.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs, ensuring students make progress and achieve their full potential.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a culture of mutual respect and trust.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources, ensuring they are aligned with national standards and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies.
- A recognized teaching qualification and significant experience in teaching and planning.
- Proven ability to work with students with complex needs and challenging behaviors, using effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
