Job Title: Care Group Medical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our Care Group in Doncaster. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our mental health and learning disability services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing our medical workforce across the Care Group, creating a positive safety culture, and developing a robust quality governance framework. You will work closely with our Care Group Director and other senior leaders to drive service improvement and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the medical workforce across the Care Group
  • Develop and implement a quality governance framework
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to drive service improvement and excellence
  • Work closely with the Care Group Director to shape the future of our services
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and external partners
Requirements
  • MB ChB or equivalent qualification
  • Current GMC registration with a license to practise
  • Postgraduate qualification in leadership and management
  • GMC registration without any restrictions
  • s12 approval and Approved Clinician status under the Mental Health Act (1983)
