Job Title: Event Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Event Support Specialist to join our team at ABM, one of the world's largest providers of integrated facility services. As an Event Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of events and activities at our clients' facilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and setting up event equipment, furniture, and other materials in various event styles. This will involve liaising with the hospitality team and operations team daily to coordinate event setup and providing porterage support to clients as needed.

You will also be required to input and check event setups on computers and report any faults or issues. Additionally, you will undertake any other related duties within your capabilities, according to the needs of the business, as directed by your supervisor or manager.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you must be reliable, trustworthy, and have attention to detail. A flexible and adaptable approach to workload is essential, as well as good communication skills, both verbal and written. You should also be able to work part of a team as well as working alone and have a proactive 'can-do' attitude to work.

You will need to have problem-solving and organizational skills, a clean driving license, and computer skills using Word and Excel. Physically fit individuals who can lift heavy objects and move around the site efficiently will be best suited for this role.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
