Theatre Practitioner for Trauma and Orthopaedics

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Theatre Practitioner to join our Trauma and Orthopaedics team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a leading centre of excellence for trauma, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and are looking for a professional who shares our values.
The successful candidate will have substantial clinical experience in theatre, preferably in the Trauma and Orthopaedic specialty, and possess excellent communication skills. They will also have a vast amount of knowledge and the ability to apply evidence-based practice.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of a quality service ensuring best practice is followed, resulting in optimum patient care.
- Hold a current registration with NMC or HCPC, have evidence of CPD, and a teaching and assessing qualification.
- Participate in Clinical Governance Activity, including audit and data collection.
- Ensure effective supervision and assessment of students within theatre.
- Undertake risk assessment in line with Trust policy.
