Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is proud to partner with a dynamic international organisation based in the South Yorkshire region, seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Manager to drive financial excellence in their growing finance team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close across multiple entities in the US and Canada, as well as provide support to other geographies.
  • Verify correct posting and reconciliations of payroll, COS, and prepayment journals across multiple entities.
  • Perform comprehensive reconciliation of GL codes on a monthly basis.
  • Present initial draft P&L, margin, accruals, and balance sheet for each entity.
  • Support and reconcile Sales Tax/GST/VAT submissions and payments.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc tasks to deliver a timely month-end.
  • Prepare and support year-end accounts and audit.
  • Contribute to statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for UK companies as required.
  • As a senior role in the Barnsley office, assume local leadership for teams with non-local line management.
  • Support the integration and accounting for new acquisitions as needed.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Accountancy qualification.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Proven experience in accounting, including financial accounts.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
