Branch Operations Manager

Our client, Taylor Hawkes Ltd, is seeking an exceptional Branch Operations Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the branch, focusing on customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy Branch Resources: Ensure 95% of scheduled water deliveries, installations, technical service, and extra delivery orders are completed on time.
  • Manage Productivity: Oversee the team's productivity to ensure full route execution each day.
  • Review Branch Performance: Review daily performance metrics and take corrective actions to maintain high standards.
  • Deliver Customer Satisfaction: Achieve a minimum of 40% NPS score each month and address any negative survey responses or customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Compliance and Safety: Monitor all operating activity against company and governing body standards, ensuring 100% compliance in field audits.
  • Cost Control: Control operating costs to deliver continual improvement in cost per bottle delivered and revenue.
  • PO Management: End-to-end PO management to support accrual of costs in the operating plan.
  • Route Efficiency: Work with the Central Planning team to ensure optimum route efficiency in line with performance metrics and operating plan.
  • Stock Control: Establish and maintain defined stock control measures, including accurate and timely stock counts and daily recording of stock movements.
  • Safety Culture: Establish and maintain a safety-first culture across the team, ensuring the Branch building, environment, fleet, is clean, maintained, safe, and well-organized at all times.
  • Fleet Maintenance: Manage Branch fleet maintenance and control costs with support of Fleet Management.
  • Driving Behaviours: Ensure driving behaviours across the team meet DVSA legislation and regulations.
  • Leave Management: Manage and plan all annual leave to ensure optimal staffing levels, in line with seasonality demand, across branch operations for the full year.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with customer service, sales, supply chain, and production colleagues to address time-critical issues and drive continuous improvement.
