About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing the cases of individuals applying for disability benefits, providing fair and accurate reports, and working autonomously to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with diverse health conditions, gathering a clear understanding of their challenges and how their disability affects their daily life.
  • Work in an office-style environment and at home, completing approximately 45-minute assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face.
  • Interpret medical evidence and compile comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Requirements
  • Registered Nurses, Physios, Paramedics, and Occupational Therapists are eligible to apply.
  • NMC/HCPC registration is mandatory.
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience and UK experience is essential.
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and I.T competency is a must-have.
