Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join a dynamic primary school in Ilford, supporting students with sensory needs and special educational needs.

About the Role

Your new role as a Primary SEN Teacher will be to support students in Years 4-6 with various needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and students requiring support with sensory needs and challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with students with ASD, SpLD, and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with ASD, SpLD, and sensory needs in a supportive and inclusive setting.
  • Liaise with professionals to conduct Annual Reviews and plan ongoing support for students with EHCPs.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide a tailored education for each student.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous experience working with students with sensory needs. A strong understanding of Zones of Regulation techniques and organisational skills are essential for this role.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
