Teaching Personnel: Supporting Students with SEN

We are seeking a Support Teacher for Students with SEN to join our team from January to July, covering two terms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to a student with SEN, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their individual learning goals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans, adapting resources to suit the student's specific needs.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs is essential.
  • A solid understanding of different types of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Ability to work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and other professionals to support the student's progress.
Additional Information:
  • Dedicated time to plan and collaborate with the class teacher to ensure the student's needs are being met.
  • You will work alongside a supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for the student.
  • This position requires a salary commensurate with experience, approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
