Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Portsmouth Integrated Learning Disability Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with senior management and clinical staff to deliver high-quality psychological care to individuals with learning disabilities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with experience of working with a wide range of client groups and presenting with varying levels of clinical severity. You will be responsible for delivering individual, family, and group therapy, as well as maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality psychological care to individuals with learning disabilities
- Work closely with senior management and clinical staff to develop and implement service plans
- Conduct assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
- Deliver individual, family, and group therapy
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience of working with a wide range of client groups and presenting with varying levels of clinical severity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
