About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Student Midwife. This is an exciting opportunity for an Adult Nurse to develop their skills and knowledge in midwifery, working closely with our experienced midwives and the University of Hertfordshire.

Job Responsibilities

As a Student Midwife, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing your skills and knowledge in midwifery through a combination of theoretical and practical training
  • Working closely with our experienced midwives and the University of Hertfordshire to achieve your practice requirements
  • Participating in clinical placements in various settings, including community midwifery, midwifery-led birthing units, and neonatal units
  • Contributing to the development of our team and the delivery of high-quality patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active registration with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse (Adult) first level status
  • A Degree or Diploma in Higher Education or 60 level 5 credits
  • 6 months full-time post-registration experience within the last 2 years
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with patients and colleagues
