About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our team at Westfield Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our wellbeing facilities, ensuring high standards of customer service, and leading a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of onsite wellbeing facilities, including face-to-face and remote management through relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a multidisciplinary team across all facilities.
  • Customer Service: Develop strong relationships with participants and stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Financial Management: Monitor expenditures and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Health and Safety: Develop and implement safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Community Engagement: Organize employee events and collaborative initiatives with relevant stakeholders across the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Health and Wellness, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., fitness instructor, personal trainer).
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, CMIOSH, or any health and safety-related qualification.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Health Club management or Corporate Wellbeing.
