About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer to join our Agile development team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to identify and report defects in our software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Conduct exploratory testing, including UI, API, and back-end testing, to identify and report defects.
  • Work closely with the Technical Lead to develop and implement test automation frameworks and strategies.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to identify and prioritize testing efforts, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including development teams, product managers, and QA teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Experience with automated testing tools, including Selenium, Appium, and TestComplete.
  • Strong understanding of programming languages, including Java, Python, and C#.
  • Experience with version control systems, including Git and SVN.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
