About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Software Engineer to join our team at Interact Software. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Software Applications: You will be responsible for designing and developing software applications using C#/.NET, ensuring they are high-quality, performant, and safe.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: You will work closely with team members to contribute to code reviews, architecture decisions, and implement industry-class working practices.
  • Implement Proposals for Product and Codebase Changes: You will work with production data and logs to understand issues that arise in production and write and implement proposals for product and codebase changes.
  • Work with QA Teams: You will work closely with QA teams to ensure robust testing approaches and ensure that our software applications meet the highest standards of quality.
Requirements
  • Commercial Experience: You should have at least 2 years of commercial experience working with large.NET codebases for high-volume applications.
  • Expert Knowledge of C#/.NET: You should have expert knowledge of C#/.NET (Framework or Core/above) and be able to design and develop software applications using this technology.
  • Good Knowledge of SQL: You should have good knowledge of SQL and be able to design and develop database systems.
  • Good Knowledge of Unit and E2E Testing Approaches: You should have good knowledge of unit and E2E testing approaches and be able to design and develop software applications that meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Strong Understanding of Web Technologies: You should have a strong understanding of web technologies and be able to design and develop software applications that meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You should have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) and be able to work closely with team members to contribute to code reviews, architecture decisions, and implement industry-class working practices.
