About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer to join our Agile development team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to identify and report defects in our software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts, test data, and test environments to ensure accurate and reliable testing results.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to development teams to ensure high-quality code.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and testers to create and implement test automation approaches to complement manual testing.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing and release to Production.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Test Engineer with a strong background in Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent understanding of software testing principles, including black box, white box, and gray box testing.
  • Strong knowledge of automated testing tools, including Selenium, Appium, and TestComplete.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide clear, concise recommendations for resolution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience with version control systems, including Git and SVN.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
