Job Overview
Squire's Garden Centres seeks a motivated Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. This role is based in a dynamic and customer-focused retail environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role
This role involves coordinating cyclical stock counting procedures, investigating issues and variances, and liaising with shop floor departments and Goods-In department as necessary. You will also ensure that all relevant reports associated with stock accuracy are reviewed, investigated, and actioned in line with company policy. Additionally, you will process and action company price changes and price checks accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all documentation is completed and filed.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience of working in a similar role within a retail environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as being organised, self-disciplined, and having a positive, collaborative attitude. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a safe working environment to meet both company and legislative health and safety requirements.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience. As an employee of Squire's Garden Centres, you will also receive a range of benefits, including 5.6 weeks' holiday (increasing to 6.2 weeks after 2 years' service), a bonus scheme, pension plan, and access to a cycle-to-work scheme, among others.
