Business Technical Services Analyst Role

At Global Payments, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Technical Services Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our clients and their Business Account/Relationship Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to assigned clients, ensuring they are serviced as per Service Level Agreement in all respects.
  • Identify revenue-generating opportunities, document requirements, and propose solutions that maximize Global Payments' revenue.
  • Establish a positive rapport with clients to develop and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Assist in the evaluation process of client business requirements, effort estimation, and guiding clients to utilize standard solutions.
  • Participate in converting client business requirements into detailed technical specifications and present them internally and externally.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of critical business impact issues from Service Desk.
  • Participate in release management between Service Desk, Compliance, and Project, as well as client activities such as Payment Card Industry audits and internal projects.
  • Occasionally act as 24x7 first-line Service Desk support, as requested, and monitor adherence to Service Desk SLAs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Relevant experience or degree in analysis, programming, and issue analysis of financial services software.
  • Typically minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Typically minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including experience in financial services software and solutions programming.
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
