Senior Procurement Officer Opportunity

Butler Rose is partnering with a leading manufacturing client to find an experienced Senior Procurement Officer/Procurement Manager to join their team.

This hybrid role (2 days on-site) offers a salary up to circa £48,000 depending on experience. The location can be Stevenage, Bolton, or Bristol, with the possibility of a relocation package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and execute subcontracts with existing partners or through tendering activities.
  • Oversee subcontract amendments to ensure they remain topical and compliant with the latest contracting standards and legislation.
  • Manage supplier performance to ensure delivery in line with subcontract obligations.
  • Nurture strong supplier relationships within the UK, Europe, and globally.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and business risks related to suppliers.
  • Obtain quotations and critical intelligence from suppliers to support business growth.
Requirements:
  • Experience in procurement subcontract management, negotiation, contract, and terms and conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find resolutions.
  • Excellent communication and support skills for internal and external customers.
  • Ability to continually improve opportunities, analyze situations, and present possibilities while balancing risk.
