As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement of goods, works, and services efficiently within the complex regulatory environment of public sector procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic relationship with senior management teams for each of the directorates in the provision of a procurement service.
  • Work closely with managers and commissioning officers to ensure that all directorate level procurement activities are properly managed.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and policies.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree or procurement and supply chain qualification (CIPS Level 6).
  • A broad understanding of the public sector procurement and Public Contract Regulations 2015.
  • Experience working across the end-to-end procurement process.
  • Experience working closely with and advising senior leadership.
  • Experience in construction procurement is desirable.
  • Confident communication, stakeholder, and supplier management skills.
