About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team at Ecotricity, a leading green energy company. As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of technology and associated business change, working closely with our delivery teams to optimize our platforms.

The success of our business relies on digital channels and a self-service first model. You will be responsible for managing the build and continuous delivery of software experiences that improve the performance of our platforms, as well as managing stakeholders through steering, agile ceremonies, and workshops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the build and continuous delivery of software experiences that improve the performance of our platforms
  • Manage stakeholders through steering, agile ceremonies, and workshops
  • Run requirement gathering workshops with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor product-related technical debt and work with developers to ensure sprints have an appropriate mix of new functionality, fixes, and on-demand changes
  • Manage the Product Backlog and prioritize requirements based on business goals
  • Develop User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Epics
  • Strong business case and cost-benefit analysis skills
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering brilliant digital products and services
  • Strong Jira experience, including story pointing and velocity tracking
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • First-rate written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven personal development, self-management, and a desire to be brilliant
  • Clear and concise relaying of ideas and concepts
  • Passionate about UX and previous involvement in creative UX builds
  • Experience and confidence in public speaking
