Medical Support Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Administrator to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of the administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the ENT Directorate Team.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will work directly with the senior management team, serving as a crucial point of contact, source of information, and playing a vital role in maintaining cross-organisational communication and scheduling.
Key responsibilities will include acting as the Directorate officer to support the management team with day-to-day operational delivery of services, including outpatients, inpatients, theatres, and management and approval of doctors' and consultants' leave.
A high standard of education and excellent typing and word processing skills are essential, including proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Main Responsibilities- Providing administrative support to the ENT Directorate Team
- Managing databases and PMS on a regular basis
- Assisting in the management of day-to-day operational requirements for delivery of the service
An estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £30,500 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
