Electrical Distribution Equipment Specialist

Schneider Electric is seeking an Electrical Distribution Equipment Specialist to support our service team with site-based activities, commissioning, modification, and maintenance of electrical distribution equipment.
About the RoleThis role will involve travelling across the UK&I, but will be predominantly based in the Cardiff area. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, commissioning, and assisting maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance, commissioning, and assisting maintenance teams with electrical distribution equipment.
- Maintenance and repair of ASCO and ATS switches.
- Inspection and commissioning of EV Chargers.
- Installation and connectivity of Asset Advisor equipment (EAA).
- Installation of switchgear and transformers.
- Carry out site risk assessments and complete LOTO documents.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who is well-grounded in the principles and application of electrical safety from the risks associated with live LV/HV networks.
- Able to work across the UK&I, involving frequent travel.
- Possess a full driving license and passport.
- Demonstrate appropriate underpinning knowledge in the form of academic qualifications.
