Job Title: Scheme Administration Lead/Senior Pensions Administrator

IDEX Consulting is working with a leading pension consulting firm to find a skilled Scheme Administrator Lead to join their DB schemes team.

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the administration aspects of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes on behalf of the scheme trustees. Your portfolio will consist of clients with whom you will work closely to ensure the smooth operation of their pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical knowledge of pensions with experience in a Defined Benefit pension administration environment
  • Experience working with defined benefit pensions schemes and UK pensions legislation
  • Knowledge of systems, including Microsoft Office and Windows applications
  • Experience in managing ad-hoc and annual pension projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to articulate and communicate current and relevant issues to scheme members, pension trustees, and other relevant third parties
  • Ability to work proactively and use your own initiative to complete tasks
  • Perform in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent service to clients and third parties, with a desire to succeed in achieving challenging objectives
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with GMP Reconciliation / Equalisation calculations
  • Practical knowledge of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF)
