Job Description

My client, a leading Global Technology Enterprise, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Lawyer to join its legal team. In a critical role for this Global Technology Leader, you will report directly to the Head of Legal and be responsible for managing a team of lawyers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and Negotiating Technology Agreements: You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a range of technology agreements, including technology design appointments and agreements related to the procurement of technology, such as cloud services, SaaS, and IT licenses.
  • Team Management: You will be responsible for managing and developing junior members of the team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management: You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating logistics contracts, supply contracts, manufacturing agreements, and collaboration agreements.
  • Legal Oversight: You will be responsible for providing oversight on other legal issues, including those related to intellectual property, competition law, and data protection.

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of post-qualification experience as a technology/outsourcing lawyer, with some sell-side technology experience. You will be a well-regarded lawyer looking to make your first move in-house or an in-house lawyer seeking a new challenge. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter to join a leading global technology business in a strategic and operational role from day one.
