Job Title: OT Cybersecurity Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and assisting in the development of OT procedures and guidelines, as well as the development of training and maintaining the day-to-day Cyber Security operations of UK industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting an Industrial Cyber Security Program for UK assets, including several NIS classified sites and critical infrastructures
  • Following IEC/ISA 62443 methodology, incorporating OG86 requirements, and ensuring the OT Operations Standard is up to date against current industry guidance, regulations, and best practice to create a suite of documents for the assets, including:

-Cyber Security Management Systems (CSMS)

-High Level and Detailed Risk Assessments

-Security Level (SL) assignments

-Cyber Security Requirement Specifications (CSRS)

-Corporate training material

Ensuring the organisation is compliant to HSE OG86 standards and regulations

  • Maintaining the day-to-day Cyber Security operations of the UK Industrial sites, including the distribution of vulnerability alerts, responding to potential incidents and threat intelligence, design and implementation of cyber countermeasures, and site audits
  • Participating in all phases of the project management lifecycle, from design through to FAT and SAT testing
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in OT Security, preferably within the Oil and Gas sector
  • Excellent understanding of OT cybersecurity principles
  • Ability to contribute to and develop Security policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience of Risk Assessment
  • Industry experience with IT Infrastructure and Networking concepts
  • Experience of Patch Management, Vulnerability Management/Assessment, SIEM, Intrusion Detection, Incident Response, and Application Security
  • ISO Standards, NIST
  • SCADA, Industrial Control, and Industrial Automation
  • Full understanding of NCSC OG86 HSE standards
  • Detail orientated
  • Qualification or equivalent industry experience – GICSP and IEC62443
