About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to work with children aged 7-17 who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties. Your main responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to these children.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily care and support to children with EBD and MLDD
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Children & Young People Workforce Diploma with social care pathway is required
  • Ideal experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour
  • A driving licence is necessary for this role
  • Fluency in English, including speaking and understanding different UK dialects, is essential
