Senior Care Assistant Days

The successful candidate will join a close-knit and friendly team who share a passion for delivering quality care. You will be responsible for creating an environment that respects the rights and wishes of our residents, while encouraging person-centered care and maximizing their independence.

About the Role
You will lead a team of care workers to provide high-quality care to our residents. This includes assisting with daily care needs, participating in holistic caring activities, and ensuring a system is in place for resident participation in care planning. You will also be responsible for medication administration, moving and handling, and observing and reporting any changes in residents' conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily care needs, including dressing and hygiene
- Participate in holistic caring activities, such as therapy and recreation
- Ensure a system is in place for resident participation in care planning
- Administer medications and maintain accurate records
- Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions

Requirements
- NVQ 3/MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it
- Previous experience as a senior in a residential care or nursing home
- Passion for care of the elderly
- Experience in medication administration
