Family Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our children and families within an Accrington school. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact and will be empathetic and supportive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong, trustworthy relationships with colleagues, children, and families, fostering partnerships between school and families.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children to thrive.
- Offer advice, guidance, and support to children and families.
- Assist families in accessing local services and resources.
- Support social skills, emotional skills, and mental health development.
Requirements:
- Experience working with and supporting children and families.
- Compassionate and understanding nature.
- Relevant qualifications in social work, family support, or equivalent.
- Willingness to undertake further training.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
