About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant in Paediatrics to join our team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The successful candidate will have expertise and interest in paediatric obesity and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality paediatric care, including acute paediatrics and complications of excess weight (CEW) service.
  • Provide 1:8 on-call to the acute paediatric service, including support for inpatient services and outpatient paediatric activity.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including a psychologist, dietician, physiotherapist, specialist nurse, social worker, family support worker, and administrator.
  • Develop and implement service development initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
