About the Role

Addleshaw Goddard is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Corporate team as a senior associate. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in transaction delivery, client relationship development, and team expansion.

Corporate Team Overview

Our Corporate team is renowned for its expertise in public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, and corporate governance. Working alongside our private equity team, the Corporate team offers a diverse and challenging work experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including merger agreements and equity capital market offerings.
  • Manage transactions from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Maintain client relationships post-closing, providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Participate in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and driving growth.
  • Provide supervision and training to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior associate in a law firm or corporate environment.
  • Strong motivation for career progression and a desire to contribute to the growth of the practice.
  • Ambitious and eager to contribute to the success of the Corporate team.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
