Job Title: Senior Associate

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Real Estate team in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of commercial property work, including land acquisitions, property investment acquisitions and disposals, and acting for landlords and tenants in connection with the grant of business leases.

About the Role

You will work closely with our partners and other fee earners to deliver high-quality services to our clients. Your expertise will be essential in advising on complex property matters, including retail, leisure, and healthcare development work. You will also be responsible for managing your own caseload and assisting with the development of new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a wide range of commercial property work, including land acquisitions, property investment acquisitions and disposals, and acting for landlords and tenants in connection with the grant of business leases.
  • Work closely with our partners and other fee earners to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
  • Manage your own caseload and assist with the development of new business opportunities.
  • Advise on complex property matters, including retail, leisure, and healthcare development work.
Requirements
  • 5+ years PQE or equivalent experience in real estate work (commercial property), gained in a large regional or City law firm.
  • Technically strong with excellent written English and ability to produce clear, logical drafting.
  • Effective time and matter management and a systematic approach to work.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility to work with several team members.
  • Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
