About the Role

Rethink Mental Illness is seeking an experienced and passionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Lincolnshire Crisis Accommodation & Helpline Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide key worker support to service users, including one-to-one individual support and liaison with other mental health agencies.
  • Work closely with service users to achieve their personal goals and access support on their recovery journey.
  • Develop a rapport with service users based on respect and honesty, working within clear professional boundaries and the Rethink Mental Illness Code of Conduct.
Essential Experience and Skills
  • Transferable life/work experience to apply to this role.
  • Good listening skills, empathy, understanding, kindness, patience, and a willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of the Charity.
  • Experience of providing support to people with mental illness or experience of providing care and support services in another social care setting.
