Job Overview:
TRS Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Senior Buyer to join a leading Major Tier 1 contractor. This role will involve working on various packages across rail projects on a permanent basis.

About the Role:
As a key member of the project team, you will oversee the entire procurement process, from tendering to contract award. You will work closely with technical, commercial, and legal teams to ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and project objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for complex, high-value project packages.
  • Maintain a strategic approach to supply chain planning and logistics, ensuring high performance standards.
  • Research and evaluate areas of opportunity to reduce costs where possible.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable expertise in procurement of civil engineering materials across high-value projects.
  • Good knowledge and experience of the supply chain, both material and subcontract.
  • Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
