Job Description:

The Sales Trainee role at BMS Performance offers a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to break into sales and develop a career with a leading supplier of façade and timber products to the construction industry.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Build relationships with customers and suppliers and communicate effectively and promptly.

  • Prepare and send quotes and sales information to customers as requested to agreed deadlines.

  • Arrange samples for projects and maintain stocks and showroom facility where applicable.

  • Use the company project HUB to provide administration support to the external sales team.

  • Be proactive in organising databases for mailshots and supporting company marketing activities.

  • Meet Company expectations in relation to target income, company procedures and KPIs to ensure progression up the sales ladder.

  • Embrace training development on sales and product knowledge.

  • Any other duty deemed by the directors to be in the interest of the team in achieving its objectives.


What You Can Expect:





  • £25,000 basic salary

  • OTC circa £30,000

  • 25 days holiday + BH (increases with years of service)

  • Company car scheme becomes applicable after the 6-month probation period.

About the Role:



This role is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to develop a sales career with a company that offers excellent rewards and progression. You will learn all aspects of the business and have lots of opportunities to shadow experienced sales team members on client meetings.



As a Sales Trainee, you will largely represent our full range of brick and masonry products. In your first 12 months, you will develop towards targeting architects, building contractors, property developers and house builders.



This is a client-facing role, initially going on meetings with another member of the sales team before starting to lead them independently. You will have lots of opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge, and we offer a fantastic opportunity for progression up the sales ladder.
