We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Dickson O'Brien Associates. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of circa 175 accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies.
- Conduct credit vetting for new business, generating Sage customer accounts as necessary.
- Proactively chase debts across a portfolio of groupwide customers via telephone and email.
- Issue statements and maintain detailed and accurate notes on the credit control system.
- Post all cash to the sales ledger and accurately allocate on a daily basis.
- Recommend accounts for legal proceedings/debt recovery.
- Perform customer account reconciliations and provide weekly/monthly updates to the Credit Control Manager.
- Liaise with key internal/external contacts and perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Preferably 1 year's credit control experience.
- Preferably have Sage200 experience, although full training will be provided.
- Good personal time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The role will also come with a bonus.
