Job Title: Care Assistant - Support Resident Independence

We're currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our residents to live independently in their own homes. You'll help with personal care duties, such as bathing, dressing, and continence care, and provide high-quality care that prioritizes dignity and respect.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and be part of a supportive and collaborative team. We're looking for someone who is passionate about care, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care duties, such as bathing, dressing, and continence care
  • Support residents with meal preparation and serving
  • Help promote mental and physical activity of residents through hobbies and interests
  • Answer emergency calls and respond to care alerts
  • Work with the Domiciliary Care Manager and other external professionals to ensure high-quality care

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a care or dementia setting
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Passion for care and commitment to delivering high-quality care
