About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Structural Risk Manager to join our team at Reed Property & Construction in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of residential buildings, engaging with residents, and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough hazard assessments to develop safety cases and reports for high-rise residential buildings.
  2. Review existing fire precautionary measures and plan remediation or refurbishment works to ensure safety and minimal risk to residents.
  3. Liaise with operational teams to address and prioritise risks identified during building safety inspections.
  4. Support the Mandatory Reporting process with the Building Safety Regulator and manage enquiries or complaints about building safety.
  5. Provide fire and structural safety information to residents and support the delivery of the resident engagement strategy.
  6. Update and maintain systems/records to ensure data accuracy and meet KPIs.

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of Fire Risk Assessments and Approved Document B.
  2. Ability to produce detailed safety reports and work to tight guidelines and targets.
  3. Knowledge of structural safety and design.
  4. Technical qualifications in fire risk assessment (Level 4 desirable).
  5. Experience in asset management, compliance, and housing management programmes.
