About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Principal Fire Risk Management Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a fire safety professional to take on a senior role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading fire risk assessments, developing comprehensive fire safety plans, and providing expert advice on fire safety regulations and best practices. They will also assist with Building Regulations compliance and perform site inspections and audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead fire risk assessments and develop comprehensive fire safety plans for residential and commercial properties.
  • Provide expert advice on fire safety regulations and best practices to building owners, managers, and developers.
  • Assist with Building Regulations compliance and perform site inspections and audits.
  • Conduct general risk assessments to identify hazards and propose suitable control measures.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety (minimum) with additional relevant qualifications preferred.
  • Fire safety qualifications and memberships (AIFireE, MIFireE, GIFireE, MIFSM, MIFPO) required.
  • Significant experience in risk assessments within the built environment (residential and/or commercial).
  • Strong understanding of Approved Document BS 9999/9997 and current UK fire safety regulations.
