Mental Health and Education Support Role

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a recent Psychology graduate to contribute to the education and well-being of students in Hull.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual who can utilise their psychological knowledge to create a supportive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers and the SEN department to develop tailored learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Implement effective strategies to promote students' mental health and emotional well-being, drawing on your understanding of psychology.
  • Support the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional support.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, addressing any behavioural challenges that may arise.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related subject is compulsory.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and a strong commitment to helping them reach their full potential.
  • Desirable but not essential: previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting.
  • A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Salary Information: The estimated annual salary for this role is £24,250.
