Deputy Director of Learning in Maths

Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Deputy Director of Learning - Mathematics. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of £46,689.23-£104,400.92 per year, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
About You
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Teaching Experience: A proven track record of successful teaching across a range of abilities and age groups.
- Leadership Experience: Leadership experience, either as a Head of Department, Second in Department, or equivalent role.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues and students alike.
- Commitment: A commitment to promoting high expectations and fostering a positive learning culture.
The Role
- Leadership: Support the Director of Learning in leading the Maths Department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to curriculum planning and innovation to meet the needs of all learners.
- Team Coaching: Coach, mentor, and inspire members of the Maths team to develop their skills and improve student outcomes.
- Data Analysis: Analyse performance data to inform strategic planning and interventions.
- Teaching: Teach mathematics to students across a range of abilities, modeling outstanding teaching practice.
- Deputising: Deputise for the Director of Learning as needed.
