Immunology Research Role: Develop Innovative Therapeutics

An exciting opportunity exists for an R&D Scientist with expertise in Vector Development to contribute to innovative research and development. Our CV-Library team is looking for a skilled immunologist to develop mammalian plasmid constructs for optimal expression of antibody therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vector Development: Design and screen mammalian gene expression plasmids for high and stable expression of therapeutic antibodies.
  • CRISPR Expertise: Design and optimise CRISPR knock-out and ORF libraries for high-throughput functional genomics pipelines.
  • Laboratory Operations: Maintain laboratory facilities, including equipment upkeep, cleaning schedules, and consumables stock management.
Requirements:
  • BSc/MSc in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of industry experience or PhD with 1-2 years' experience.
  • Extensive experience in designing, preparing, and screening mammalian gene expression plasmids.
  • Familiarity with mammalian cell line development, including GM/GE cell lines, single-cell cloning, and clonal screening.
