About the Position:

This French MFL Teaching Assistant role presents an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive school environment, prioritizing collaboration, diversity, and personal growth for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in developing communication skills, focusing on oral proficiency in French.
  • Conduct small group and one-on-one sessions to enhance students' confidence and fluency in the French language.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging conversational sessions, reinforcing cultural understanding in alignment with the school's values.
  • Closely collaborate with teaching staff to support exam preparation and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs.
  • Develop and use relevant resources that reflect current language learning topics and engage students with the modern languages curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or near-qualified in a relevant language discipline, ideally fluent in French with strong knowledge of French-speaking cultures.
  • An engaging communicator with a passion for language education and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • A team player who can support the Modern Languages team and contribute to the school's diverse educational objectives.
