Job Title: Senior People Development Manager

Waddington Brown is seeking an experienced Senior People Development Manager to lead a small team and drive best practice within their HR function. This is a contract for 4-6 months with the possibility of extension.

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity involves reviewing job descriptions, restructuring the HR team, and implementing new processes to ensure effectiveness. You will also oversee the implementation of a new HRiS system and explore areas of automation to improve efficiency throughout the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Review job descriptions and manage expectations within the HR team
  • Restructure the HR team and establish effective reporting lines
  • Review processes and activities for effectiveness, implementing new ways of working as necessary
  • Implement a new grading structure to remain competitive in attracting new talent

Requirements:

This role requires established HR experience, preferably with a CIPD qualification. Proven experience in managing HR departments and team management is essential. You should have a passion for developing others, leading, and inspiring them to achieve their best, along with exceptional communication skills.
