About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional to join our team at Mountain Healthcare Limited. As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to detainees in police custody.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services to detainees, including assessment, care, and treatment of acute medical conditions.
  • Collect and process forensic samples, including blood and urine samples, for use in police investigations.
  • Work closely with police officers and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of healthcare services.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each detainee.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and provide support to detainees with complex needs.
Requirements
  • Qualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Acute medical healthcare experience, preferably in a police custody or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with detainees, police officers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of forensic sampling procedures and protocols.
